![]() When Kevin learns that the Ravens have transferred districts so that they can compete against the Foxes, Kevin panics and has a physical fight with Coach Wymack. Instead of forcing Andrew, Kevin says that he must want to train with him of his own accord. ![]() To train his right hand he goes to the stadium at night, accompanied by Andrew who won't play with him. Kevin promised Wymack that he would get the team past the fourth match this season. To this his fans reacted with rage, feeling betrayed by their idol for not returning to the Ravens. As the new season started, he was signed as a striker for the Foxes, now playing with his right hand. His fans took offence at this, because they thought that Kevin should lend his expertise to his home team. Edgar Allan had to release Kevin from his contract due to the severity of his injuries, and covered up the situation as a skiing accident.Īfter the "accident", Kevin moved to Palmetto to act as Coach Wymack's assistant coach. Right after this match, Riko broke Kevin's hand and Kevin went to Coach Wymack's hotel room at the southern winter banquet, following him to South Carolina. In response, he pitted them against each other and Riko won, though probably not fairly. Kevin was the Ravens' best player, and by winter of his sophomore year on the team the NCAA had concerns about Riko holding Kevin back on the court and accused Coach Moriyama of ordering it during an ERC meeting. Their goal was to become Exy champions, which they reached, being signed for the US national team the year before Neil arrives, and to the Baltimore Wildcats for an unknown time. ![]() Kevin grew up with the Ravens and his adopted brother, Riko, who saw him as his property. Kevin has green eyes and dark hair, and is about 6' to 6'2. This is because the Queen is the most dangerous and powerful piece, despite being less "important" than the king, much as how people treated Kevin compared to Riko, "the King." Later in the series he has the number tattooed over with the queen piece from chess. As a child, he would write the number in permanent marker and retrace it when it faded, Riko doing the same but with the number 1. Kevin previously had a number two tattooed onto his left cheekbone, it symbolized his position on Riko's "perfect court," and establishing that he would always be second best when compared to Riko. He found a letter in it from his mother addressed to Tetsuji which included the identity of his father, David Wymack. Kevin found out the identity of his father by accident while he was looking through some books. The two were constantly in the limelight since their childhood, although this lead to some concern over the effect this could have on their psychological well being, it led to a widespread obsession with the pair and many considered them the future of Exy. Kevin and Riko were inseparable ever since Tetsuji took the pair in, neither of the two ever appeared alone on camera. This was in preparation for Riko's "perfect court," which also includes the former backliner for the Ravens, Jean Moreau, and would've included Neil had he and his mother not escaped from Baltimore. ![]() The pair had a number one and two drawn onto their cheeks from a young age, Riko being one and Kevin being two. The two spent most of their time either playing or practicing Exy, they spent so much time around the Edgar Allan Ravens that they are called the team's unofficial mascots. Tetsuji didn't care much for either of them as their guardian, his main goal was the train the two to become the best Exy players in the world. He grew up with his mother until she died in a car accident, and was then taken in by his god-father, Tetsuji Moriyama, and raised alongside Tetsuji's nephew, Riko Moriyama, in Castle Evermore. Kevin was born presumably in Ireland to Kayleigh Day.
